Life is too short not to have fun! Laughing with, at, and about life is essential. Spending time with the right people is the key to accomplishing this. I was fortunate enough this past week to be in just that situation. The annual girls trip that started out over 30 years ago in Ohio's state park cabins has now morphed into a luxurious and much more mellow vacation to San Diego. Mellow in that we all go to bed earlier, but we laugh just as hard. We laugh at each others idiosyncratic ways, stupid comments and the shenanigans of years past. We act like kids by (attempting) to body surf in the waves, drink like we are in college and soak up the suns rays (even though we know it causes cancer).
Most of us are related, either sisters or sisters in laws, but best friends too. We get mad at each other but in the next breath, we will defend each other. The common thread, we all like to laugh. I recommend it for everyone!
